TONH Business Tourism and Development Corporation to Host Free Seminar on Downtown Revitalization
 
Manhasset, NY– Supervisor Jon Kaiman and the North Hempstead Town Board invite all residents to attend the upcoming Business & Tourism Development Corporation’s free “Downtown Revitalization” seminar on May 11th at 8:15am at the Clubhouse at Harbor Links, 1 Fairway Drive in Port Washington.

“I applaud the Business, Tourism Development Corporation as they continue to work with our business community, our chambers of commerce, village officials and our residents to make North Hempstead an engine of economic growth,” said Supervisor Jon Kaiman. “The upcoming seminar on Downtown Revitalization will provide the Town, Villages, and our business community valuable information from leading industry professionals on ways to revitalize our downtown areas.”

The special edition half-day conference features a noteworthy list of professionals who will present the various public & non-profit funding sources, how to develop a downtown strategy, retail recruitment strategies, place branding-streetscape improvements, parking, bicycling & pedestrian planning and using zoning as a planning tool.

Supervisor Jon Kaiman will open the session with a welcome address and New York State Senator Jack Martins will present the Keynote Address.
