TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR MANHASSET PARK DISTRICT COMMISSIONER

Manhasset, NY - North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Councilwoman Maria-Christina Poons announced today that the Town is accepting applications for the open position of Commissioner of the Manhasset Park District.  The position became available due to the retirement of former Commissioner Patricia J. Roberts.

Supervisor Kaiman has created a screening committee to interview candidates.  Upon completion, the Supervisor will make a recommendation to the North Hempstead Town Board at which time the Board will vote on the candidates.
