Women’s Roll of Honor Breakfast slated for March 27 at Harbor Links

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Clerk Wayne Wink are calling for nominations for the 2019 May W. Newburger Women’s Roll of Honor now until Friday, February 22. Anyone interested in submitting a name for consideration can call North Hempstead’s 311 Call Center or visit the Town’s website (http://www.northhempsteadny.gov/roll-of-honor) and download the application form. The 26th Annual Women’s Roll of Honor Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at the Clubhouse at Harbor Links in Port Washington from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.

“The outstanding women who volunteer their time and talents to our community truly help to make our Town such an extraordinary place to live,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “The Women’s Roll of Honor is a wonderful way to say thank you and give recognition to these deserving women.”

Event chairperson Wayne Wink added, “I am proud we have the opportunity to honor outstanding women for their great contributions to North Hempstead. The women that are recognized at this event are what make up the fabric of the North Hempstead community.”

Since 1994, North Hempstead has held the Women’s Roll of Honor breakfast to honor women who reside in the Town who have made a contribution to their community, or have accomplished a significant achievement through public or private efforts in a volunteer capacity.
