Town’s BTDC Seminar “Making Quality Connections”
North Hempstead, NY – The Town of North Hempstead and the Town’s Business & Tourism Development Corporation (“BTDC”) will be hosting a breakfast seminar “Making Quality Connections” on Tuesday, October 10 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at LaunchPad LI in Westbury The free seminar will also include breakfast and networking.
This seminar will feature four speakers who will speak on various business growth and hiring topics including:
• Steven Delligatti, M.P.A., Director, Oyster Bay-North Hempstead-Glen Cove Workforce Development Board will be presenting on the services of the Workfoce Development Board
• Michael Dolan, Program Manager, Employment Services, Abilities/Viscardi Center will be presenting on successful student placement and agency services.
• Felicia Fleitman, Founder/President, Savvy Hires and co-director and co-executive director, RecruitLI will speak about developing internships and apprenticeships and business incubators and common workspaces.
• Roslyn Goldmacher, President/CEO, Long Island Development Corp/Long Island Small Business Assistance Corporation will talk about business funding services and micro-loan lending.
