Deadline for First-Half Tax Payment in Town of North Hempstead is February 10

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman would like to remind residents that the deadline to pay first-half 2016 General Taxes without penalty for all North Hempstead residents is Wednesday, February 10, 2016 as bills are expected to hit homes on schedule. This is in accordance with the normal procedures that the Town is required to follow under the law. Any modification to this schedule made elsewhere in Nassau County does not apply to Town of North Hempstead tax bills.

First-half 2016 general tax payments must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service on or before February 10, 2016, to avoid penalty. If you are paying in full by February 10, please remember to take the one percent (1%) discount on the second-half amount as indicated on your bill. Residents may also pay in person at the Tax Office at 200 Plandome Road, Manhasset or online at www.northhempsteadny.gov/tax.

If you have any questions regarding your first-half 2016 general tax payment please call 311 or 516-869-6311.
