Councilwoman Kaplan Invites Residents to Join Her at North Hempstead’s Polar Plunge

North Hempstead, NY –North Hempstead Town Councilwoman Anna Kaplan invites residents to join her on March 1st at North Hempstead Beach Park for the 10th Annual Town of North Hempstead Polar Plunge.

Councilwoman Kaplan has set a goal of raising $2,500 for the Special Olympics New York and she needs your help to reach it. If the goal is met then Councilwoman Kaplan will take the PLUNGE!

We are not asking you to take the Plunge if you don’t wish, but we are asking if you will make a donation to Special Olympics New York on behalf of Councilwoman Kaplan taking the Plunge. Any amount would be appreciated and it all goes to a wonderful cause, and every little bit gets her that much closer to the goal and "Freezin' for a Reason!"

In order to support Councilwoman Kaplan taking the Plunge, please make your check payable to “Special Olympics New York” and return it to Special Olympics New York / Attn: Kristina Aquilone / 560 Broadhollow Road, Suite 106 / Melville, NY 11747. Please be sure to include Councilwoman Kaplan’s name so that the staff will know where to credit the contribution.

You can also make a donation online via credit or debit card at http://2014NorthHempstead.kintera.org/polarplunge/annakaplan.
