Permit Fees
please complete the
following Permit Request Form.
Library for meeting space at $150.00 until 5:00P.M./ $175.00
after 5:00P.M. A slide projector is available as well as use of kitchen.
Scout Sleep Over at $250.00 includes kitchen use. Insurance must
be provided, as well as someone who is currently CPR certified. Fire
Department notification necessary. Activity to conclude no later than
10:00A.M the following day.
Events such as Art Shows, Flower Shows, Promotional Activities, Craft
Work Shops and Displays at $200.00, includes use of kitchen and
refrigerators on premises. Events may be catered. Insurance necessary.
Outdoor Lawn Event-$15.00 per person up to 70 people, $1.25 each
additional person up to a maximum of 100 people. Catering and tables and
chair rental permitted, insurance must be provided. A $300.00 security
deposit is necessary in the event of botanical damages. $150.00 for the
use of the Clark House, including kitchen and refrigeration. If more
than ten children, an activity or sitter must be provided. No refunds or
rain dates available.
Exclusive Use- $4,500.00 This includes use of grounds or
main house, or an event utilizing a tent on Town property. This is
extended to weddings, private affairs, birthday parties, family events
and other like events. In all cases insurance must be provided
concerning caterer or tent installation.
Commercial Photo Permit - i.e. family functions/occasions:
$100.00 for resident; $150.00 for non resident. To use a photo/film
location: $500.00 up to four (4) hours, $1,000.00 up to eight (8) hours.
Tent Permit- $1000.00 plus a $500.00 security deposit in the
event of damages. Insurance must be provided.
Weddings
 
Wedding Photo Permit-$200.00 for residents of North Hempstead/ $250.00
non residents. No vehicles allowed in garden.
Wedding Ceremony-$300.00 for residents of North Hempstead/
$350.00 non residents. Maximum of 70 participants. $100.00 security deposit.
Chairs may be rented provided insurance. $150.00 for use of Clark House and
kitchen. Party responsible for set up and breakdown entirely. Garden must be
left in pristine condition.

Willis Avenue, Turn South onto Willis Avenue, Then left onto I.U. Willets
Road, cross over the railroad tracks, turn left into parking lot.
By Train - LIRR Oyster Bay Line to Albertson. The Garden is
immediately east of the station.
