Town of North Hempstead to Host First BeachFeast Celebration

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are proud to announce the first ever BeachFeast celebration. The food and spirits festival will be held at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington on September 14th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are so excited for BeachFeast to become a North Hempstead tradition,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “This the first year that we will be hosting this event and we hope that our residents enjoy the opportunity to taste some new foods and some old favorites, all while having a great afternoon on the beach.”

Residents will be able eat, drink and enjoy the music at a bistro setting steps away from the beach and Hempstead Harbor. Music and entertainment will be provided by Jimmy Kenny and the Pirate Beach Band and FiveStone, a local band from North Hempstead.

BeachFeast will also have vendors on hand selling food and spirits. This year’s attendees include: Long Island Festival Caterers, Gorilla Cheese NYC, Ponti Rossi, Andy’s Italian Ices and Espresso Bar, Gino’s Pizza, Alfredo, Carl’s Steaks, Miami Grille, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company, Glen Cove Brewery and more.

The event is free of charge, with a $10 parking fee per vehicle. For more information, please call 311.
