(A) A RESOLUTION AND ORDER AFTER PUBLIC HEARING HELD ON JULY 10, 2007, AUTHORIZING THE INCREASE AND IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES OF THE PORT WASHINGTON WATER POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO SECTION 202-b OF THE TOWN LAW.

(B) A BOND RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK, ADOPTED JULY 10, 2007, APPROPRIATING $33,830,000 FOR THE INCREASE AND IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES OF THE PORT WASHINGTON WATER POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF NOT TO EXCEED $33,830,000 SERIAL BONDS OF SAID TOWN TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION, AND AUTHORIZING ANY GRANT FUNDS TO BE RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF NEW YORK TO BE EXPENDED TO PAY A PART OF THE COST OF SAID PROJECT OR TO REDEEM THE TOWN’S OBLIGATIONS ISSUED THEREFOR, OR TO BE BUDGETED AS AN OFFSET TO THE TAXES FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON SAID OBLIGATIONS.

Synopsis: The adoption of this ordinance will establish a 20 M.P.H. School Speed Zone for the Dryden Street School; a Full Stop for westbound traffic on Dryden, Lowell, Irving and Whittier Streets, at their intersection with School Street; and Full Stop for southbound traffic on Small Place, at its intersection with Dryden Street; and a Full Stop for northbound traffic on Tennyson Avenue, at its intersection with Dickens Street in Westbury.

Synopsis: The rescission of this ordinance will remove a presently posted parking restriction that is no longer needed on the west side of Denton Avenue, in front of the P.A.L. building in New Hyde Park.
