We are very proud of our park system and all of the activities and programs offered to residents. We have thirty-eight active and passive parks with something for everyone from children to senior citizens. All of our facilities are open to North Hempstead residents and their guests. We offer year round indoor swim lessons and summer outdoor lessons, exercise and dance classes, and rooms for birthday parties. We also have soccer, baseball, softball, and little league fields as well as, basketball and tennis courts. Our parks provide a year-round inexpensive way to have fun for the entire family. Our summer concert series begins July 4th and runs through Labor Day. A full schedule of concerts is provided in the Guide. Enjoy a day in the sun or bring a blanket and enjoy a wonderful evening under the stars.
Our Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington is the finest championship course in the area. We also have a 9-hole executive course, driving range, and miniature golf course.
Manorhaven and Bar Beach provide a beautiful and relaxing day in the sun. The swimming fun does not end on Labor Day in North Hempstead. Tully Indoor Pool and Recreation Center is open all year. For more information about any of our park facilities and activities, please call 311 or 869-6311.
