Government Internship Program | Supervisor Jon Kaiman Announces:
THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD GOVERNMENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Supervisor Jon Kaiman has announced that the Town of North Hempstead is now accepting applications for the Government Internship Program. The program is open to high school and college students who are interested in working in a variety of the Town's offices this summer. "It gives me great pleasure to provide students with an opportunity to be part of public service, and to gain some ‘real life' experience by making an important contribution. This program will provide interns with a chance to see a variety of Town-wide departments operate and enhance their knowledge of local government. Some areas of opportunity are in Parks and Recreation, the Comptroller's Office, the Supervisor's Office, and the Town Attorney's Office, to name a few." Students may be eligible to receive school credits for their involvement. Interested students should write to: Commissioner Helene Raps-Beckerman Finance Department Town of North Hempstead P. O.
